Description

This workshop is designed for adult educators seeking to enhance their teaching through building an intentional reflection practice. Participants will explore strategies for examining their teaching methods, values, and assumptions to improve learner engagement and outcomes.

Through guided activities and collaborative discussions, educators will learn to develop habits of critical reflection that support continuous growth, inclusivity, and responsiveness in and outside the classroom.

What we'll cover:

In this workshop, adult educators will learn ways to develop habits of critical reflection, deepen self-awareness, and enhance their education work through continuous learning and thoughtful practice.

In this session, we will:

  • Describe the purpose and practice of self-reflection
  • Demonstrate how to teach reflectively
  • Identify how reflective practice can bolster social change
