The Literacy Texas Annual Conference has been held at the Embassy Suites in San Marcos on at least six previous occasions. We’re delighted to be returning to this popular venue in 2025.
Additionally, the hotel is undergoing a major renovation, meaning we’ll see brand new spaces when we arrive in the summer.
In addition to world-class facilities at the hotel, the San Marcos Premium Outlets are just down the road. See you in San Marcos in August 2025!

Our conference venue, The Embassy Hotel & Suites, is now at capacity. We have arranged an additional conference block at a reduced rate at the nearby Holiday Inn.

San Marcos was the popular home of the Literacy Texas conference for some years (2013 – 2017), before the decision was made to keep the location circulating. While we hope to change conference venue every 2 – 3 years, we’re overjoyed to be back at the Embassy in 2025.
