Every year, National Adult Education and Family Literacy Week (AEFL Week) is an opportunity to shine a light on this very great need. AEFL week raises awareness of the need for adult education and family literacy, and the great value to all of us when these are prioritized in our communities.
One of the main goals of AEFL week is to increase support for adult and family literacy, through improved access and a better understanding of the full breadth of literacy, including reading, numeracy, and digital skills.
National Adult Education & Family Literacy Week 2023
AEFL Week in 2023 will be celebrated nationally from Monday, September 18 to Friday, September 22.
