Best of Texas

Amazing things are happening in Texas, y’all! We don’t have to go beyond state borders to find fantastic examples of best practices, lots of innovative service delivery, and novel ideas.

“Best of Texas” brings local experts together to share their wisdom and experience – and maybe help us all avoid a few pitfalls along the way.

These 1-hour sessions are held online once per month on the second Thursday of the month. Each session welcomes a guest (or two, or three) for a conversation on a topic that overlaps with adult and/or family literacy.

Sessions usually open up for informal discussion and questions, after the 60-minute conversation is over. Stick around if you have time and join in!

Each month’s topic follows our monthly themes (see list below).

Check the Literacy Texas calendar for details of upcoming sessions.
