Using a Coupon Code to Register

The information on this page can help you register for the Literacy Texas conference using a coupon code. Please follow the steps carefully.

NOTE: After using this system in 2025, we know the most common mistakes people make! We’ve included some “Mistakes to avoid” to help you get through to the end without problems.

Before you get started, please check your email for your unique code. You’ll need it ready before you start the registration process.

STEP 1

Go to the conference registration page, literacytexas.org/registration, and select the “Individual Conference Registration” button.

STEP 2

Go through the registration process, adding your personal information as prompted.

STEP 3

Click “confirm booking” when you reach the end of the main section of the registration process.

Mistake to avoid: Selecting “confirm booking” is not the end of the process. Please don’t stop here!

STEP 4

A confirmation message will come up on your screen. Read that message and scroll to the end.

At the bottom of that message, look for a button/link that says “Pay Now.”

Click the “Pay Now” link.

Mistake to avoid: You still need to complete the “payment” process, even if you have a coupon code that will reduce or waive the amount owed. Please don’t stop here!

STEP 5

A checkout box will pop up. Look for “Have a coupon?” in blue lettering toward the bottom.

Click “Have a coupon?”

Mistake to avoid: Don’t immediately select “proceed to payment” – make sure you apply your coupon first.

STEP 6

Copy/paste your coupon code in the text box and click “Apply.”

Mistake to avoid: It’s easy to miss the “Apply” button to the right in the text box where you enter the coupon code – but your code is not in the system until you apply the code.

Applied the code? Whew, you’re done!
