The Literacy Texas Annual Conference has been held at the Embassy Suites in San Marcos on at least six previous occasions. We’re delighted to be returning to this popular venue in 2025.

Additionally, the hotel is undergoing a major renovation, meaning we’ll see brand new spaces when we arrive in the summer. Get a sneak peek here!

In addition to world-class facilities at the hotel, the San Marcos Premium Outlets are just down the road. See you in San Marcos in August 2025!

PLEASE NOTE: The Embassy is nearing capacity, so make your booking soon. We are working with a nearby hotel to arrange an additional conference block at a special rate – information will be posted here if and when our block at the Embassy is full.

NOTE: The conference special room rate expires on July 7, after which you’ll pay market rates for hotel rooms at the Embassy. And currently, market rates are approximately DOUBLE the special conference rate. Get your room soon!

Our conference venue, The Embassy Hotel & Suites, is now at capacity. We have arranged an additional conference block at a reduced rate at the nearby Holiday Inn.

By popular request, we’re moving on! Our goal is to change conference venues every 2 – 3 years. In 2026 and 2027, we’ll be in Grapevine – and we’re so much looking forward to getting to know this part of the state!
