About This Session
Description
Running social media for your organization doesn’t have to consume your entire day — or week. This session is tailored specifically for community-based organizations (CBOs) with limited time, staff, and resources.
You’ll learn how to create a manageable, strategic social media workflow that fits into a busy nonprofit life. We’ll walk through how to pick the right platform (hint: you don’t need to be on all of them), create a simple content plan, engage your community authentically, and use tools to help you repurpose content.
Whether you’re a one-person shop or just the person who “does the Facebook,” you’ll leave with a plan you can implement right away — in just 20 minutes a day.
What we'll cover:
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand which platforms are best for your audience and goals
- Learn how to plan and create weekly content efficiently
- Discover ways to engage with your community using minimal time
- Take away a sample weekly social media calendar
Interactive Element: Participants will create a simple one-week social media content plan during the session, with small group work to share ideas, get feedback, and troubleshoot challenges.
