The 2024 Far West Literacy Symposium is co-presented by Far West Adult Education Consortium and Literacy Texas.
The symposium has the theme “Literacy: The Key to Opportunity” and will be held on
Thursday, January 25 & Friday, January 26, 2024
at Ysleta Community Learning Center: 121 Padres Dr, El Paso, TX, 79907. Click here to see a detailed map with entrances, parking, and workshop locations marked.
Check-in for registered participants will open at 7:30 am and both breakfast and a working lunch will be provided.
This symposium is offered free of charge to educators, volunteer tutors, ESL teachers, and other library and nonprofit professionals who work in the fields of adult and family literacy.

Someone who attends the full symposium (all sessions on both days) will receive 13 hours of PD credit.
Certificates of completion will be awarded after the event. Complete the survey after the training is finished to give your details and get your certificate.
