Symposia

Literacy Texas partners with regional literacy organizations throughout the state to offer one-day literacy symposia. Funded by the Volunteer Training Initiative grant from the Texas Workforce Commission, these symposia provide free professional development for volunteers and staff of nonprofit, community-based, and faith-based organizations.

Symposia are an excellent place to learn and network with other literacy providers in your region.

Use the calendar below to find upcoming symposia, and read more here about this regional approach to professional development.
