About This Session

Join Vicki Clark and Chela Sanchez for “Getting Started With Grants” as part of your fund development strategy.

Grant-writing is a crucial process that involves completing an application for financial assistance from institutions like government departments, corporations, foundations, or trusts.

Effective grant writing requires careful planning, thorough research, persuasive writing skills, and a clear presentation of the project’s goals, objectives, and expected outcomes. By mastering the art of grant writing, organizations (like yours!) can increase the chances of securing the necessary resources to bring your mission and vision to life.

This session will provide a step-by-step approach to grant writing, including:

  • Grant proposal template
  • Dos and don’ts for successful grant-writing
  • The good, the bad, and the ugly

You won’t want to miss this engaging and timely session!
