The Whole Village: How Wrap-Around Support Helped One Young Mother Get on Her Feet and Career Ready

About This Session

Description

We know that when an adult learner is struggling with education, they usually struggle in many areas.

This case study session will take a deep look at the impact of collaboration with community members which allowed a student to thrive.

What we'll cover:

We met Lola through a connection at the Women’s Recovery Center. She was pregnant with her first child, and a network of wrap-around support was needed to help her get and stay on track.

Through a targeted effort, she is thriving and her daughter is growing up in a happy, healthy, and safe home. Lola earned her GED and is now enrolled in college.
