Explore the journey from offering traditional user tech applications to include evolving tech industries and opportunities, pushing digital equity and inclusion boundaries and upskilling & reskilling for the next tech generation.
What we'll cover:
Some fear that the digital revolution is steering us away from the purpose of adult education, and that we are at risk of losing focus on the populations we are serving and their immediate needs.
This session examines the emerging technology-driven expansion of traditional adult education programming beyond today’s “hot jobs.” We will explore an approach to expand training for traditional user applications and employment:
- To include evolving tech industries and opportunities
- To push digital equity and inclusion boundaries and
- To upskill and reskill our adult learners as the designers and innovators of the next tech generation.
