About This Session

Description

Language learners are expected to master a great deal of vocabulary right from the start, but when starting from the beginning, developing a strong base of vocabulary words can be challenging.

In this session, discover methods for teaching vocabulary to beginning level English learners, and recommendations for making it stick. Participants will also explore ways to build speaking fluency and confidence, and will leave with concrete activity ideas that can be used in a variety of instructional scenarios.
