Join Mahalia Baldini, Director of Adult Education & Literacy at the Texas Workforce Commission, for a panel discussion regarding collaboration between AEL funded programs and literacy nonprofit organizations.
AEL funded programs and literacy nonprofits each serve a very important role in meeting the needs of Texas communities. The panel discussion will explore collaboration between the two entities and how it helps ensure everyone gets the help they need.
Mahalia will share her perspective on the challenge all adult literacy providers face and lead the panel discussion that will include:
- Melanie Fisk – Senior Director of Adult Education at BakerRipley
- Wes Young – Executive Director of Tarrant Literacy Coalition
- Federico Salas-Isnardi – Director of the Mayor’s Office for Adult Literacy (MOAL) in Houston
- Jauneen Maldonado – Director of Adult Education at Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County
