The Literacy Texas Annual Awards are an opportunity to show your admiration and affection for those you work alongside. Nominations open early in the year and close in late spring. Awardees are traditionally recognized at the Literacy Texas Annual Conference.
Show your pride in student achievement and your appreciation for volunteers by planning to nominate someone in your program for one of these statewide awards.
We love getting the chance to celebrate students and volunteers!

2024 nominations will open in March and close May 17.
2024 nominations are now closed.
Awardees (one in each category) will be invited to receive their award at the Wednesday luncheon of the 2024 Literacy Texas Annual Conference in San Marcos, with hotel stay and travel reimbursement from Literacy Texas. Winners will be informed by early July to enable them to make travel arrangements.
Not sure if nominees can make it to the conference, even with financial assistance? No problem! Nominate students and volunteers anyway and if winners can’t be there at the celebration, we’ll work with you to find a way to make the award presentation in a meaningful and celebratory way, at a time and place that works for them.
