Accreditation:
- Technical Assistance provided to the following literacy provider working on accreditation for 2007-08: Hope Literacy, Fort Worth
Bridges to Practice Training:
- 5 trainings; 137 participants
- Host Cities: Corpus Christi, Fort Worth (2), Literacy Texas Conference-Austin, Pearland
Training of Trainers:
- 3 trainings; 53 participants
- Host Cities: Dallas, El Paso, Fort Worth
Literacy Texas Conference August 2007:
- 60 programs attended; 185 participants

Reimbursement of Expenses and Free training opportunities:
- $113,200 in funds provided free training opportunities and reimbursements to local volunteer
organizations to attend teacher trainings and conferences and for assistance to programs seeking ProLiteracy
accreditation. These funds are made available by Texas LEARNS through the Volunteer Training Initiative
administered by the Texas Center for the Advancement of Literacy & Learning (TCALL).
